traditional, classical, contemporary

The St. Paul Traditional Choir sings for Sunday 10:00 AM Masses from September through June, as well as for Christmas, Holy Week and other special occasions. The group is comprised of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. St. Paul Inspirit Ensemble
5:00 PM Sunday Afternoon
folk, gospel, pop

The St. Paul Inspirit Ensemble consists of over 40 singers and musicians living in the greater New York City area, coming from a multitude of backgrounds. Although some of the members are professionals in the music and theater industries, many are in finance, fashion, law, technology, science and education. We incorporate a fusion of musical styles in four-part harmony including post Vatican II compositions, contemporary Catholic repertoire, traditional hymns, gospel, folk, Irish, African, and pop to enhance the liturgy with a diverse and inspiring musical selection. We come together because of the common joy we find in music and the shared commitment to sharing this joy every Sunday.

Coro Hispano
12:30 PM Sunday Afternoon
multi-cultural, rhythmic, uplifting

The Coro Hispano Serves as music ministers for the Church of St Paul the Apostle’s Spanish liturgy at 12:30 PM on Sundays. The group is a volunteer choir whose members’ diversity also represents the varying cultural backgrounds that comprise our parishes Hispanic heritage. Coro Hispano is led by Joaquin Maria – Del Rosario who started leading the group in August of 2021. Joaquin is also the Director of the Archdiocesan Hispanic Choir. He brings a lively faith and great skills on the guitar.

In addition to leading worship throughout the regular liturgical seasons, the Coro Hispano also participates in special patronal feasts significant to our Latino congregation, occasionally joined by guest musicians. The most notable of these is the annual celebration of the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, when the Coro is joined by a Mariachi band for the Mass. For information on joining this choir, please contact our Music Department.
