New York City Landmark

On the basis of a careful consideration of the history, architecture, and other features of the Church, the Landmarks Preservation Commission has stated that the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle has a special character and a special historical and aesthetic interest and values as part of the development, history, and cultural characteristics of New York City.

The Commission further finds that the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle is one of the largest and most monumental religious buildings in Manhattan.

As a result, the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle has been named an official New York City Landmark.”

We could not be prouder that the city of New York has recognized our Church’s important history and significance in this great city.
