FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS)

Will I need a ticket to come to Mass and the Prelude for Peace?
Yes. Due to space limitations, no one will be allowed into the church without a ticket.

How do I get tickets for a Mass?
Just click the button under the Mass you want to attend. All tickets are free.

How many tickets can I order?
4 ticket limit per person. Multiple orders will not be accepted.

Do I need to open an account with EventBrite to get tickets?
No. The only thing required will be an email address to send you a ticket.

Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can get?
Yes. The maximum number of tickets will be four.

Will the Masses be live streamed?
Yes. All masses will be livestreamed on our Facebook page, our YouTube Channel , and our website.

Do I need a ticket to watch the livestream?
No. No ticket is needed to watch the live stream.

Will there be a Christmas concert this year?
In place of the Christmas concert this year, St Paul’s NYC presents a very special program called Prelude to Peace at 7 pm on Christmas Eve. A ticket is needed for this event.

What the heck is a Prelude to Peace at 7 pm on Christmas Eve?
Prelude to Peace is a very special presentation of carols, videos and spoken word. We hope you will enjoy it.

Will there be a children’s pageant this year?
Due to safety measures, there will not be a children’s pageant this year. We look forward to presenting it again in 2021.

Can I stay for the prelude to peace after the 5:00 pm mass?
No. Unfortunately, we must clear the church for sanitizing following the 5:00 PM mass . Therefore, everyone will be required to exit.

Will I be able to see the Prelude to Peace in the church or should I stream it?
The prelude to peace will be both in church and livestreamed. if you come to church there is one required ticket for the combination of the 7:00 PM Prelude to Peace and the 8:00 PM mass of the Nativity.

Will I be able to sit anywhere I want to sit in the church?
Unfortunately for safety measures we will be seating everyone once they arrive at the church. You will not have the option to sit anywhere you choose.

Will there be a midnight mass this year?
There will not be a midnight mass this year however we will replay the 8:00 PM mass at midnight On Facebook and YouTube.

Will there be a temperature check at the door?
Yes. Everyone will be required to have their temperature checked before entering the church.

Can I watch this mass streaming if I don’t have a Facebook account?
Yes. You can watch on our YouTube channel . Just CLICK HERE

If I can’t come to church and watch the livestream, how can I give to the collection?
You can donate either through FaithDirect or through Venmo @stpaulsnyc

Am I required to get a Covid test before I come to Mass?
A Covid test is not required, however it is certainly recommended for your safety.

If I’m not feeling well, should I come to mass anyway?
No. If for any reason you’re not feeling well it is not a good idea to come to church. You can watch the live stream at home.

Will there be tickets at the door?
No. No tickets will be available at the door.

Will the priests, lectors and musicians be wearing a mask also during the Mass?
Yes. Everyone involved in the production of the mass will be wearing a mask

Will I be safe from Covid-19 inside the church?
We will take every measure to make the church a safe environment. However if you feel at all at risk, please watch the livestream at home.

Can I take my mask off once I’m at my seat?
No. Everyone will be required to wear a mask at all times while they are inside of the church.

Can I use the St. Paul App to read along with the music and scripture of each Mass?
Yes. You can download it at either the Apple App or Google Play store.
